Mic’s Auto Body -
“Quality workmanship at a Competitive price”

Mic’s Auto Body’s pledge to its clients is to deliver quality repairs and refinishing in a courteous and punctual manner.  Our technicians are highly skilled in the use of the most advanced techniques and equipment to restore a vehicle to its pre-accident condition.  We are constantly staying ahead with new procedures and methods of repair and refinishing.

Over the years, collision repair has become very complex largely due to technology. Mic’s serves a wide variety of consumers here in the bay area and it is important to meet the environmental and insurance requirements of each and every customer.

We undertake challenging tasks with clarity and build relationships. Beneath it all, this business is really all about relationships.  At Mic’s we put out quality work, have excellent relationships with our DRPs, and strive to make our customers so satisfied they return and refer their friends.

Relationships with insurance companies

DRPs are an integral part of the shops’ success; in fact, roughly 90 percent of business is insurance related. Mic’s has had a DRP relationship with Allstate Insurance since 1985. The shop has had other long-term relationships with Safeco, Encompass, Farmers, Unitrin, AIG, 21st Century, GMAC, CEI, Wheels, ANPAC, CNA, CSE, and CSC.

Waterborne – ahead of the curve

Although it has not been mandated in northern California, Mic’s has already introduced waterborne paint into his shops. By getting ahead of the game – and his local competitors, Mic’s can maximize the transition to waterborne as an advantage in marketing his shops. Demonstrating a commitment to environmental concerns, customers can be assured that the two Butler shops are truly “green.”

“And the painters love it,” said Butler (owner of Mic’s Auto Body). “They say they will never go back. Even when they have a choice, they choose the waterborne system. DuPont spent many hours in-house and provided as much follow up as we needed.”
